This Christmas, I’m going to make a change in our decorating habits. I’m giving up real, natural trees, and I’m going to buy a flocked Christmas tree. I’ve already seen some nice models with green foliage covered with heavy flocking. They really look so cool that you almost feel like you were in the forest and not in our very own living room.
Besides, this snow won’t melt, so I can be sure I’ll enjoy it for the whole period I’m going to keep the tree up, which usually is about one month. The best advantage will be that the kids won’t decorate it with real snow, as they do every winter. At least I do hope so.

It appears now as though their will indeed be some sort of class-action lawsuit filed against Dish Network for their deceptive practices in selling their TV converter boxes. Currently Dish sells the DTVPal, Dish Network dtvpal plus, and TR-40 CRA. All of these converter boxes are the same but sell for significantly different prices.
This has left many customers who bought the more expensive versions feeling ripped off and very upset. Dish Network has changed things with these converter boxes so many times now and repeatedly failed to live up to promises to sell them at certain prices. In fact right now you can buy both the DTVPal and TR-40 CRA on the Dish website for $60 and $40 respectively despite the fact that they are 100% exactly the same converter box.
