October 2023 Content Wrap-Up
October hit like a freight train. I traveled to 5 events, touched down in 4 countries, and have now completed 26 months of daily blog posts. And here I am in Chicago to close out the month — and kick off November’s activities. Looking back at October, my first event was attending the Microsoft Power Platform Conference (#MPPC23) in Las Vegas where I was able to catch up with many friends and meet with dozens of partners. Mid-month I traveled to southeast Asia for aMS events in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Manila. For those unfamiliar, aMS stands for Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint, and is another flavor of the several community-organized global events that you can find happening around the world just about every weekend. And to wrap up the month of travel, I caught a flight yesterday to participate in 365 EduCon Chicago where you can catch my session and/or find me in the Rencore booth.
From a content standpoint, You’ll find 4 new CollabTalk Podcast episodes, with weekly guests that are booked solid through the end of January, and 5 new #MVPbuzzChat interviews with fellow Microsoft MVPs. The #M365AMA squad was also able to answer 14 new questions from the community. Some of you may have noticed that there was not a CollabTalk tweetJam in October. Too much going on — just could not figure out a date and time that worked, so we punted to November. Be sure to watch for updates on Nov and Dec events within the next week.
Oh yeah, and Rencore Governance was recognized as Governance Product of the Year by Redmond Magazine, which is a really big deal. Congrats to my extended team for crushing it! Community and Industry Interviews
With MVP interviews published every Monday and the CollabTalk Podcast moving to every Thursday, community interviews have become a major portion of my monthly content output. Aside from the AMA format, this is one of my favorite contributions.
