Embarking on my Fall Tour of EMEA

For anyone following me on Twitter (@buckleyplanet) or who have seen one of my recent presentations, you’re probably aware of my forthcoming travel plans. For the month of October, I’ll be visiting various regional Microsoft teams and SharePoint User Groups (SPUGs) across 8 countries: United Arab Emirates, Israel, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, England, and the Channel Islands (not the ones off the coast of Southern California, folks). This extensive tour will enable Axceler to visit with many of our partners and customers within each region, and for me to spend time with the Microsoft field teams to help them understand the impacts of SharePoint 2013 and how Axceler fits within that picture. Bookending the trip will be SharePoint Saturday events in Tampa this weekend, and Twin Cities (Minneapolis) on November 3rd.

If you are in one of these regions, are able to participate in the SPUG and community activities, and would like more information, please reach out to me at cbuck@axceler.com. I don’t have links for everything, but will provide updates here as I am able to confirm details. While there are other stops on this tour, here are the public events in which you can participate:

Of course, in between all of these events will be numerous Microsoft field team meetings, partner discussions and dinners, and face-time with customers. I am looking forward to rubbing shoulders with some of the local SharePoint experts, and having some great discussions at each stop. I plan to blog extensively from the road, so expect a post for each of these tour stops.

With the addition of these two SharePoint Saturday event, that will bring my tally for the year up to 14, with SPS South Florida and SPS UK right behind them. I told myself last year that I would cut down on my travel – especially SPS events, but it just hasn’t worked out. And 2013 doesn’t look to be slowing down. So much going on with SharePoint and other Microsoft product families, and with Axceler’s product roadmap.

I hope to see you out on the road!
