We talked about some of the issues that are impacting organizations that have not yet moved to the cloud, with Dileepa highlighting user adoption as one of the biggest issues. As I often mention to audiences, many of the issues that end users identify include both real and perceived impacts, and education should be an important aspect of any enterprise deployment, because the most difficult aspect of any move is change itself. While a new technology may dramatically improve the way that business is conducted, asking people to move away from tools and processes they know and understand can cause anxiety — and without proper training, guidance, and reinforcement of the new technology, it is likely to fail.

Dileepa also mentioned that interest in Office 365 is growing very rapidly as companies are beginning to adopt not only Exchange and SharePoint, but OneDrive and now Microsoft Teams, as well. In the video, we discuss some of the strategies he uses to help customers with user adoption issues.
