Disclosure

Moving forward, you may notice a slant toward Microsoft technologies. That’s because I just started working for MS as a Sr. Program Manager in the Managed Solutions (MMS) organization. My role is to help the company package and deploy a hosted collaboration solution, based on SharePoint and Live Communication Server.

I plan to still write about the broader spectrum of collaborative technologies, with a focus on the convergence of technologies happening today — But I just wanted to make my biases clear.

Of course, MS employee or not, I believe in using the best technology solutions regardless of my corporate standing. I own an iPod, my homepage is Google, and I prefer Yahoo Messenger or GoogleTalk over Communicator. And when I see superior technologies or concepts, I’ll continue to acknowledge them.
