The Music Project
Much to my wife’s disappointment, I am once again making room for music creation in my life. The issue, of course, is making time for it. For several months, I had been getting together with my friend John Durant and his two boys to play rock music, but even though we are a hefty 5 minute drive across town from one another, matching our schedules was getting more and more difficult. So I went inward, and decided to build out the home studio once again. Thankfully, I have some talented musician friends who keep coming over and leaving synthesizers, amps, and gadgets for me to play with. Add in my iMac and Garageband software (hey, other than music recording, I only run Vista on it), and let the fun begin. My former teammate, Mike Watson, and I have started recording snippets, crafting some interesting songs. It’s good to have a hobby again, outside of work. All workaholics like me need a hobby. It gives the appearance of work/life balance to your co-workers.
Yeah…I’m your number one fan…wait, do you have any?
