Renewed as an MVP
Just wanted to do a quick post before jumping back over to family activities to say that I am once again honored to be recognized by Microsoft as part of their MVP program, and am looking forward to another year of events and community activities as part of this great group of people. As most of you know, I switched my SharePoint Server MVP over to Office 365 as of last October 1st, so this is my first renewal under Office 365.
While I may have been out there in the trenches, speaking at tradeshows, writing content, and taking an unhealthy number of selfies, if it were not for my former team members at echoTechnology and Axceler and all of their support, I would not be where I am today. Thanks to Garry Smith, Sergio Otoya, Mike Alden, Jeff Gore, Chris Essler, Claudine Bianchi, Mark McGovern, Gail Shlansky, Nick Fasano, Derek Lessard, and everyone else from my former employers who supported me throughout. I really do appreciate it.
People keep asking me how things are going with the new role at GTconsult, and I am happy to report that things are going great. Like any new consulting company branch, I am working hard to build a team, fill the sales pipeline, and build our brand. There are some big things coming up – some you know about (like the launch of the #CollabTalk show on Jan 20th over on ITUnity.com) and some not yet public. So please keep reading, following, retweeting, and occasionally dropping me an email to say hello.
Happy New Year!
No worries Mark. Life sometimes intercedes. Catch you on the next one!
Well done Christian. I know how much effort you put into the SharePoint / O365 Community so it’s throughly deserved! Happy NY and sorry I missed the last Tweet Jam. A family event clashed.
