GTconsult and Ignite Washington Showcase Office 365 to SMBs
In a press release this morning, GTconsult (www.gtconsult.com) has announced a series of events targeting small to mid-sized businesses in the Seattle area to help them understand the power and benefits of the Office 365 platform. The series of free informational events, which are in partnership with Ignite Washington, will be held in February, March, and April at Microsoft stores in Bellevue and University Village (Seattle). From the press release:
The “Office 365 Introduction for Digital Readiness” series of free events are designed to help small to mid-sized businesses better understand what Office 365 can provide, showcase real-world customer solutions, and to present strategies for on-boarding employees and quickly achieving business value.
GTconsult co-founder and COO Craig Tarr highlighted the benefits of attending: "While Microsoft does a great job of positioning the overall value of Office 365, seeing how other companies are using the technology is very powerful. Attendees are able to ask questions, and get specific answers to how the platform would fit into their unique business requirements.”
Ignite Washington’s architect Chaitra Vedullapalli added “By attending these Office 365 sessions, local brands and businesses learn the importance of modernizing their business processes and technology, allowing them to compete effectively in the marketplace, and learn to become more agile to adapt to new changes in 21st century.”
While Microsoft has seen tremendous adoption of Office 365 within various business segments, the purpose of these events – and of the Ignite Washington initiative – is to help the smaller businesses who may not have a history of working with SharePoint, or even Exchange, and to show them the value of the platform and how they can get business value out-of-the-box, without the need for development. For companies in the Puget Sound, these events present a great opportunity to see real-world examples of business solutions provided through Office 365, and more importantly – to ask questions. Individuals and businesses are invited to attend one or all of these events – they’re free and open to the public. Details on the sessions scheduled so far:
