#SPTechCon Panel: Analyzing the Hybrid SharePoint Ecosystem
I am very excited about SPTechCon Austin next week, flying from Salt Lake City to Texas early on Sunday morning, arriving with plenty of time to lock myself away in my hotel room to work on content
But seriously, I am looking forward to joining three of my fellow MVPs on stage next week for a panel discussion — who also happen to be sponsors of the Hybrid SharePoint research project I’ve been working on since January. We are now officially in the analysis phase, going through the responses of the 600+ respondents to better understand the motivators and concerns of hybrid. I’m working with a graduate team of researchers from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University to put definitive data around the size, scope, and opportunities surrounding the hybrid ecosystem – and the panel will share some of our thoughts on what the data shows.
If you’re planning to attend SPTechCon Austin next week, please make sure you join us on Tuesday evening, April 4th, from 4:45pm to 6pm. I will be moderating the panel discussion, which includes Microsoft’s Mark Kashman (@mkashman), PixelMill CEO Eric Overfield (@ericoverfield), UnlimitedViz and tyGraph CTO John White (@diverdown1964), and AvePoint Strategic Consultant, D’arce Hess (@DarceHess). I believe we’re going to live stream the panel discussion, so whether or not you’re going to be there in person, be sure to set aside the time and watch for notifications via Facebook and Twitter. I’d also like to thank AvePoint for sponsoring the panel – nothing brings in the crowds like free food!
While we’re not going to share the full results of the survey, which will be made available to the public through each of the research sponsors, we will be giving the audience a preview of some of the data – and some of the amazing data visualizations created by John and the tyGraph team as part of the research effort. You will not want to miss it!
And if you’re considering attending, remember to use my last name (BUCKLEY) to receive an additional $200 off of your ticket price.
Finally, if you’re interested in getting a copy of the full report, you can always subscribe to my newsletter. Will you receive one or two emails per month from me with links to other content and events that have nothing to do with hybrid? Yes, definitely. But it’s all good stuff, I promise.
