#MVPbuzzChat with Hal Hostetler

Image result for hal hostetlerIn episode 10 of #MVPbuzzChat, I connected with Outlook MVP Hal Hostetler (@TVWizard), a Senior Field Engineer with Roland Schorr, & Tower, based out of Tuscon, Arizona. Hal has been a Microsoft MVP for more than 22 years, across a number of different categories. That is an amazing accomplishment!

In this conversation, we talked about a few different things, including the adoption of Office 365 and some of the issues that are keeping some organizations from moving to the cloud, the rate of change around his primary focus of Exchange and Outlook, and how fax technology is still out there. We also discussed how email has continually led the way for cloud adoption — especially with Office 365 — and how Microsoft Teams is changing the collaboration landscape. Hal shared why Teams intrigues him, and answers many of the issues surrounding modern collaboration — because it allows organizations to support their end users in the tools that they want and need, which is improving adoption and engagement. Check out the discussion in the video below.

And if you’d like to connect with Hal, you can find him on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and through his blog at http://www.rolandschorr.com
