#MVPbuzzChat with Jared Matfess

Image result for jared matfessIn episode 8 of #MVPbuzzChat, I sat down with fellow Office Servers & Services MVP Jared Matfess (@JaredMatfess), a Practice Area Lead in Technology Enablement at Slalom Consulting, and who is based out of Hartford, Connecticut.  If memory serves me, we first crossed paths a few years back through SPTechCon Boston, or possibly through one of the many SharePoint Saturday events in the Northeast, for which Jared is an active speaker and helps organize and support. In this discussion, Jared shared his interests in chatbots, an area that is gaining a lot of traction within the enterprise as organizations look for ways to automate repeated tasks, as well as to better leverage the vast amount of content and data being stored inside SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, and many other locations. Jared wrote about the topic in a short blog post + video called “Accelerating your O365 Adoption with SharePoint Communications Sites & Chatbots!” that highlights some of his investigations into the Microsoft Bot Framework, and how chatbots can be practically applied within the enterprise. While its still early in the evolution of this technology, Jared talks about experimenting as a way of keeping up to date with the rapid pace of change. Check out the discussion in the video below.
