#Loop365 Inaugural Episode – Yammer Update
In partnership with my good friend and fellow Utahn (Utah-ite?) Noah Sparks (@noahsparks), we have launched a new vlog series called Loop365 that will attempt to “keep you in the loop” on all-things Office 365 through detailed interviews with various members of the product and engineering teams at Microsoft. We kick off this new series with an interview the two of us did in Las Vegas at the tail end of the SharePoint Conference North America (#SPC18) in late May when we grabbed some camera time with Steve Nguyen (@espnguyen), Yammer Product Evangelist at Microsoft, and Angus Florance (@angusflorance), Head of Yammer Product Marketing at Microsoft. As some of you know, Noah is a former Yammer MVP, and I’ve been a vocal social collaboration guy since the late 1990’s, so we were happy to make Yammer the focus of this first vlog episode — and we plan to meet with Steve, Angus, and other members of the Microsoft product and engineering teams on a regular basis to provide deeper insights into new features and product strategy.
As each episode goes live, we will provide links to supporting content and online discussions, as appropriate, giving you a comprehensive view into the evolution of your favorite Office 365 features and workloads. Feel free to post questions, and Noah and I will try to answer — as well as reach out to the Microsoft teams for additional information, if needed.
Here is Episode One:
Going forward, most of these discussions will be recorded via web meeting, so the audio will greatly improve, and some discussions may include live demonstrations. We plan to pull in various feature owners in each episode so that we can really dig into the details AND we plan to live stream many of them so that people can ask questions in real-time.
