#MVPbuzzChat with Chris Miller
For the 30th Episode of the #MVPbuzzChat interview series, I spoke with Developer Technologies MVP Chris Miller (@anotherlab), an R&D Architect with Tyler Technologies in Albany, NY, with over 20 years of experience shipping code using ASP.Net MVC, XAML, Azure, SQL Server, and other Microsoft technologies. He is also the leader of the Tech Valley .NET User Group (TVUG) where he helps promote the latest and greatest Microsoft technologies for local developers.
In this video, Chris and I discuss his many years of running local user groups, and our similar experiences from the behind-the-scenes operations of these community events. We share our thoughts on running a UG in a small community, and of the evolving UG or meetup model, and what it takes to keep up with changing member interests so that the group continues to provide value to its members.
If you would like to connect with Chris directly, you can find him on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and GitHub, on his blog, and through the Tech Valley .Net UG meetup site.
