#MVPbuzzChat with Ric Bretschneider
For Episode 92 of the #MVPbuzzChat series, I connected with Office Apps & Services MVP Ric Bretschneider (@ricbret), a technologist and consultant who spent 17 years on the PowerPoint product team at Microsoft, including creating the Microsoft PowerPoint Team blog. In fact, Ric managed the relationship with all of the PowerPoint MVPs before becoming a PowerPoint MVP himself. He founded the San Jose California branch of the Pecha Kucha presentation event, and can occasionally be heard on his Presentations Roundtable podcast, promoting excellence in design and technique through interviews of industry professionals. Ric also sits on the executive board of the Presentation Guild, and is based in San Jose, California.
In this episode, Ric and I discuss the history of PowerPoint and some of his favorite new features, including some of the AI and cloud-driven capabilities. He also shares some of his community experiences, including his participation in Pecha Kucha and the Presentation Guild, which are great resources for people who are passionate about storytelling, and who want to improve their presentation skills.
If you would like to follow Ric or reach out and connect with him, you can find him on Twitter, LinkedIn, and his podcast, as well as through his website at https://www.ricbret.com/ and blog at https://blog.ricbret.com/
You can also find this episode on the CollabTalk Podcast on Soundcloud, as well as on iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, and Spotify.
