Best Practices for Microsoft 365 Content Governance
In late September, I presented a webinar on the topic of content governance for Redmond Magazine (Minimizing Complexity and Sprawl with SharePoint and Microsoft 365, While Maximizing Potential in the Enterprise), which was sponsored by Egnyte and in support of a new eBook (Managing Content Sprawl in Microsoft 365) that had not yet been made available to the public when the webinar was scheduled, but coincides with a guest post I wrote on the topic for the Egnyte blog (Managing Content Sprawl in Sharepoint, Microsoft 365).

In support of both digital assets, I put together the 25-minute video below, during which I expand on the “best practices” that I shared within the webinar and eBook. As I state in the video, what is a best practice for one company may not be a best practice for everyone, so please consider your own collaboration culture and change management processes. I should also point out that this list of 10 best practices comes from my direct experience in leading program and organizational change management and governance efforts.
