#CollabTalk TweetJam on #M365 Adoption and #M365Chicago Panel

As the Microsoft 365 platform matures and its user base expands, more and more organizations have been thinking about end user adoption. Within the Microsoft ecosystem and its rapidly expanding educational/learning resources, we’ve seen a shift from developer-focused content to adoption, engagement, and productivity-focused material. Since COVID-19 quarantines worldwide have pushed most information workers into the home office, many of those organizations are adjusting to this “new world of work,” with some even considering making these changes permanent as a post-COVID strategy. Without many of our traditional face-to-face interactions, some are left wondering about the long-term impacts on technology adoption efforts, and what tools and strategies will be needed (and effective) in the future.

For the next #CollabTalk TweetJam being held on Friday, November 13th at 3pm Pacific / 6pm Eastern we will gather as a community to discuss “M365 Adoption in a Post-Covid, Work-from-Home World.”  Participate in the discussion with other members of the community as we share feedback, ideas, and insights about the impacts of the work from home (WFH) reality many of us are living in, and how this impacts our end user adoption strategies.

You can join the community discussion using Twitter and the #CollabTalk hashtag or your favorite Twitter platform. You do not need to be an “expert” to participate in the online conversation, and can ask questions, comment on the questions posed, or just “lurk” in the background. These online discussions are open to anyone — you do not have to be on the panel to participate.

This month’s tweetjam is being sponsored once again by our good friends at tyGraph, and is being held in conjunction with the M365Chicago event. In addition to the tweetjam, the event is hosting a live panel of experts via Microsoft Teams, answering the tweetjam questions for those who prefer video over text (or who want both).

If you have never participated in one of these tweetjams, it’s pretty simple: anyone can jump in and share their thoughts, or just lurk in the wings and absorb the wisdom of the crowd. Either way, it’ll be a TON of content to consume in a single hour. You can follow the live session using the Twitter UI of your choice (Twitter.com, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, whatever). How it works is that I’ll post a series of questions every few minutes, and people will respond to Q1, Q2, Q3 and so forth with A1, A2, A3, always including the #CollabTalk hashtag with their answers. Feel free to reply as often (or as little) as you’d like, ask your own follow up questions, share relevant links, re-tweet others, and engage with the audience.

The questions we will discuss during the session include:

1. With most organizations forced to quickly move to remote work, what has worked well, and where have companies struggled?
2. Are there #Microsoft365 features that you didn’t use prior to Covid that are now go-to tools in your toolbox?
3. What are the biggest roadblocks to user #Microsoft365 adoption today?
4. With so many people foregoing the commute and working where they live, what are your recommendations for ensuring work-life balance?
5. With the work-from-home (WFH) boom, we’ve seen more collaboration data and analytics. How will analytics impact future adoption and management of these platforms?
6. Without the promise of cookies and the smell of popcorn to entice participation, how can you successfully “virtualize” adoption efforts for a working-from-home organization?
7. Does the future of work include a Remote-First approach? What are your predictions for how we will work in the future?

As always, there will be side-questions, side-conversations, and wise-cracking throughout. This is open to the public, so please join in the discussion! The dialog is always thought-provoking and fun.
