Community Feedback on Microsoft’s Service Economy
While I typically reserve the July tweetjam for a partner topic following Microsoft’s annual Inspire partner conference, I felt that this month’s partner-focused topic was timely. As I mention toward the beginning of the video, Microsoft has been pushing its partners to extend themselves inside and outside of their current categories (ISV, SI, MSP, CSP, etc) to find new opportunities and optimize existing opportunities. So for this month’s #CollabTalk tweetjam, we focused on the topic of “Expanding Microsoft’s Partner Service Opportunity” with another amazing panel of experts, MVPs, and RDs joining in on the discussion. We had some solid stats, with 292 tweets, 1.64 million impressions, and reaching 113k profiles. You can check out the full stats for the event at https://link.tygraph.com/CollabTalk
Following the tweetjam, I was able to grab some time with Jason Beal (@varoholic), AvePoint’s new SVP of Channel & Partner Ecosystems, and discuss his takeaways on the topic. Jason joins AvePoint from Palo Alto Networks, and prior to that Ingram Micro. While he’s new to the Microsoft ecosystem, Jason knows the channel — and what it takes to grow a business with partners. Check out the interview here:
Thank you again, Jason, for taking the time to share your thoughts in both the live event and this interview. Also thanks to AvePoint (@AvePoint) and tyGraph (@tyGraphTweets) for their sponsorship of these tweetjams, and to tyGraph for the amazing stats that they provide each month. If you are planning an event and would like to include similar stats, please contact them!
The #CollabTalk TweetJam will return in April for another community-driven discussion! I’ll share updates soon, so please follow me on Twitter or LinkedIn for the latest news. Thanks
