Can we use Microsoft 365 as a RADIUS server to authenticate users? #M365AMA

In this episode, the #M365AMA panel discusses the following community question:

“Hi, I am the technical manager of an high school and we would need to use the Microsoft 365 platform as a RADIUS server to authenticate users of our WiFi network. I don’t know if a service should be purchased on the Azure side, or on the Windows side or both … Is there anyone I can contact to be able to do this? Many thanks in advance”

Some relevant notes/links shared by the team:

  • Is RADIUS really required? Modern ENT Wifi has more options. But, if necessary, RADIUS could be virtual or physical. I do not believe Azure has a RADIUS service per se.
