Event Plans for the Remainder of 2022

I thought I’d do one last event promotion for the remainder of this calendar year. I *think* this will be it for the year as far as online and in-person events, but you never know. There could be a webinar or some other online event added between now and New Year, but nothing else on my radar. And I am hoping to still fly into Las Vegas for at least 1 day with the M365 Conference, but I’m only home for 3 days between ESPC and vacation, so it’s just not looking likely. Hoping to make it next spring. Here is what is on the docket for the last 2 months of the year:

IT Nation Evolve / IT Nation Connect

Nov 7-11, Orlando, FL

Actually two events, I’ll be flying into Orlando to participate in the shortened version of the Evolve peer groups event, and then participating in the much, much larger Connect conference. If you are an MSP in North America, this is the premier conference for education and networking. As a sponsor of both events, we’ll have a team attending Connect…although only two of us there for Evolve. If you are attending either, please be sure to connect with me through the app!

CollabTalk TweetJam on “Oversight and Governance of the Power Platform

November 22nd, Online

For the November tweetjam, the community discussion will revolve around the topic of governance for the Power Platform. With such a rapid rise in popularity and community growth, it is not surprising that many organizations are recognizing the need for more oversights of no and low-code solutions within the enterprise, and the G-word (governance) is once again being discussed. Should be another interesting community conversation. These events are open to anyone to participate, always at 9am Pacific via Twitter using the #CollabTalk hashtag. If you’re new to the tweetjam model, check out this post on how to participate.

European SharePoint, Office 365, and Azure Conference

Nov 28th-Dec 1st, Copenhagen, Denmark

ESPC22 is returning to the Bella Center in Copenhagen at the end of November. One of my favorite events where I am happy to return as a speaker and as part of the Community Reporter team! If you are planning to attend, keep an eye out for me and come say hello! AvePoint are sponsoring, and when not in the booth or in my session talking about the latest Viva updates, I’ll be in the Community Reporter booth participating in panel discussions and interviews. Hope to see you there!

CollabTalk TweetJam on “Year-End Review and Community Predictions”

December 29th, Online

To close out this year, I will once again host what is always the biggest tweetjam of the year to share the biggest tech news of the year behind us, and make predictions for the year ahead. As always, I will follow the tweetjam with an interview with one or more participants, so watch for that takeaways video, as well. As with the November tweetjam, this is always open to anyone and everyone within the community, so be sure to mark your calendar and join us on Twitter at 9am Pacific!

That’s it! Many countless calls, internal and external meetings, and lots n’ lots of content filling in the gaps between these events, as well as some much-needed family time. The entire brood will be in Utah for Thanksgiving, with family photos being planned (all 4 kids, their spouses, and grandkids will be here), so looking forward to that. And I’m also looking forward to a week on the beach in Kauai before Christmas. Already making BIG plans for 2023, so keep your eye on this space!
