Can I limit what people see when I add them to a Teams channel? #M365AMA

• Remember that threaded conversations within a channel and the chat capabilities are two different things, and are managed separately. When you add someone new to a Team, they can see all historical discussions within public channels. However, when adding someone to an existing chat, you have the option of restricting their view to only new discussions.
