Is it possible to download everything from OneDrive? #M365AMA
In this episode, the #M365AMA panel discusses the following community question:
“Is there a way to download EVERYTHING on my OneDrive? I hope to collect everything in OneDrive both on my devices and in the cloud in one safe and disconnected place. In this disconnected (not syncing) place I will reorganize all data, delete, sort, rename, collect in proper folders et all, before again storing everything in the cloud. From that point I will be able to decide which data is synced to which of the three devices I use, and which will remain ONLY in the cloud for safety. Is. It. possible? Or have I unrealistic expectations?”

Some relevant notes/links shared by the team:
- Yes, you can download everything from OneDrive. You can directly download files, folders, and albums stored in your OneDrive account to any device with an internet connection. When downloading a file, your browser will ask where you would like to save it on the device. If you don’t have OneDrive installed on the computer or mobile device, you can still open and view your files in a web browser by signing in with your Microsoft account credentials [https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/download-files-and-folders-from-onedrive-or-sharepoint-5c7397b7-19c7-4893-84fe-d02e8fa5df05]
- You can also use the OneDrive app in Windows to sync all of your files between the cloud and your computer [https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/sync-files-with-onedrive-in-windows-615391c4-2bd3-4aae-a42a-858262e42a49]
