Road Tripping

I thought I’d create a quick post with my travel plans for this month and early May. I am sitting here working on several items (after wrapping a call with an APAC partner) as I prepare to depart tomorrow for 3 weeks of travel. Here’s what is on my travel schedule:

MVP Summit, Redmond, Washington

Past MVP SummitFirst stop on this multi-week adventure is the first in-person Microsoft MVP Global Summit since 2019. I am looking forward to seeing so many friends and fellow community members, some for the first time since the pandemic, and learning more about Microsoft’s plans for SharePoint, Teams, Loop, Copilot, and much, much more. It’s going to be an action-packed 3 days on the Microsoft main campus. Plus I get to see my sister and family just north of Redmond, which is always a treat. I often tell new MVPs that this event is the single best perk of being an MVP, and I can’t wait to see everyone!

Comms vNext 2023, Denver, Colorado

After a couple of days at home, I’m out the door again for a few days in Denver for the Comms vNext 2023 event, where I’ll see more friends and hang out with some of the world’s preeminent experts on Microsoft unified communications to talk Microsoft Teams, telephony, and other technologies. If you’re in the region and are looking for a low-cost event to learn from the experts, there’s still time to join us!

Channel Partners Conference & Expo, Las Vegas, Nevada

Next stop on this journey is a very full week in Las Vegas with two events. The first will be the Channel Partners Conference & Expo where the Rencore team will be meeting with current and prospective partners and building out our distributor and MSP network. I’ll be at the expo hall all day on Monday, May 1st, and likely back there on the 4th to wrap up the week.

M365 Conference, Las Vegas, Nevada

Nothing more exciting that juggling your time between two events at opposite ends of the Vegas strip! When not talking with MSPs, I’ll be in the expo hall at the M365 Conference. I’m not presenting this year, but will be conducting interviews and hanging out with my Rencore team at the booth, so please stop by and say hello!

Moving to Texas

At the end of May, we start the journey southeast as my wife and I move from Utah to Texas. This will be our 5th time moving across state lines, which, if you’ve never done this kind of move, is as fun as it sounds. 😐 Once the moving trauma has subsided, we’re really looking forward to soaking in the Texas warmth and culture. Additionally, we’re likely going to make Dallas the US home for Rencore, so watch this space for updates.

That’s it for this post! Hope to see you at one of these destinations!

Hanging out with friends at MVP Summit
