Is there a way to sync calendars across two Microsoft 365 tenants? #M365AMA
In this episode, the #M365AMA panel discusses the following community question:
“I have the following problem and hope to find a solution or some ideas what I can do. In our company we use o365, mainly Outlook and Teams. Now we have a new project with a new customer in which more than 30 colleagues will work. One requirement from the customer is, that all people on the project have to work in the o365 of the customer. Our main problem is that everybody has now 2 o365 accounts and so we have 2 calendars that are independent. Now my question: do you have a solution/idea for me how to sync both o365 accounts (mainly the calendars)? I have an account user@company.de (1) and one user@customer.com (2). I would like to sync all appointments from (1) to (2) just with the information that there is an appointment and from (2) to (1) with much more (full) details. I tried it with .ics-files but only I can see them locally and nobody else nor in Teams calendar. I hope you understand my “problem” and eventually you have ideas how to solve it. I know that‘s not a dedicated Teams topic but it would be great to find a solution that works for Outlook and Teams”

Some relevant notes/links shared by the team:
- CalendarBridge is one 3rd party option [https://calendarbridge.com/]
- Calendly is another [https://calendly.com/]
- For OOTB (no additional cost) you can try sharing your calendar — and have others share with you — giving you all access/visibility to each other’s calendars [https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/share-your-calendar-in-outlook-2fcf4f4f-8d46-4d8b-ae79-5d94549e531b]
- Or you can setup a shared calendar, as outlined in this Imperial College London article [https://www.imperial.ac.uk/admin-services/ict/self-service/connect-communicate/email/how-to-guides/sharing-calendars-resources-and-roles/create-shared-calendar/]
