Is it possible to manage a M365 user mailbox without a license? #M365AMA
In this episode, the #M365AMA panel discusses the following community question:
“I have a M365 user without license. Anyone knows how do i redirect email (inside or outside) in which him is the recipient to other mailbox? I’ve created a Exchange rule where if recipiente address has some words, this email will be fordward to me, but i receive a non-exist error email.”

- Per the article “Configure email forwarding in Microsoft 365,” it states “Email forwarding requires that the from account has a license. If you’re setting up email forwarding because the user has left your organization, another option is to convert their mailbox to a shared mailbox. This way several people can access it.” [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/email/configure-email-forwarding?view=o365-worldwide]
