For Episode 252 of the #MVPbuzzChat interview series, I spoke with Azure MVP, Aidan Finn (@joe_elway), the CEO and Managing Director at Cloud Mechanix, and a Principal Consultant, Microsoft Azure at Innofactor Norge, based in Enfield, Ireland. Aidan has made significant contributions in the IT and cloud computing fields and has spanned various roles, including consultant and administrator for prominent companies like Amdahl DMR, Fujitsu, Barclays, Hypo Real Estate Bank International, and MicroWarehouse Ltd., focusing on large and complex IT infrastructures in both the server hosting and outsourcing industry. In his current role, he aids mid-to-large Nordic organizations in deploying and adopting Microsoft Azure infrastructure, while also providing custom-written, hands-on Azure training across the European Union. He is a contributing editor on the Petri IT Knowledgebase, focusing on Microsoft virtualization and Azure, and has authored or contributed to several authoritative books on Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Microsoft cloud computing.
