June 2025 Content Wrap-Up
In the middle of unpacking, so I’m going to make this brief(er) here on this month’s content wrap-up. As highlighted in my blatant self-promotion section below, my wife and I have made the jump (finally) down to Texas, setting up the new adventure in the greater Dallas region. We’re about 10 minutes away from the Microsoft headquarters in Las Colinas (which I keep telling people, and my wife continues to roll her eyes and say “Who cares?!?”) Aside from the move, which was messier than I had hoped and included two trucks across two weekends, the big in-person activity was TechCon 365 Seattle at the beautiful new Seattle Convention Center – Summit Building, which is amazing.
Although…if I can be completely honest, the main expo hall area kind of made me nervous with its 1,000+ of the 1″ x 8″ x 8′ planks hanging from the ceiling. I kept having Final Destination-esque anxiety every time I entered the hall. Not really, but it was funny to bring it up to people, and then have them look up and suddenly feel uncomfortable.
My two sessions went very well, with fairly full rooms for both. I once again presented my Top 20 M365 Productivity Tips session to a full room, and then had 50+ people in my AI-Assisted Writing session during the last timeslot of the day and week on Friday. Great feedback from both, and, as always, I thoroughly enjoyed the event and loved seeing so many friends and community members. Looking forward to the Dallas event this fall (still waiting to hear if my sessions have been accepted).
Ok, here’s my published content from June:
CollabTalk Podcast
With all of the shuffling and moving, I was not able to get my post-production work done on all of my recorded content for the month, so there were only two episodes in June. No worries – I’m caught up now.

- CollabTalk Podcast | Episode 178 with Vol Goloshuk [blog | audio | YouTube]
Content Strategy
Three more entries in my Content Strategy series, and, as mentioned last month, I think I have a book title and plan worked out, and I hope to have the book completed for a fall release.

Project Failure Files
Missing from this list is our June 30th episode in which Sharon and I announced that we’re taking a 2-month break. With both of us moving (both across states) and lots of plans for tweaks to our show template, the launch of a new website, and much more, we thought we could use a hiatus for a few weeks. Don’t worry – we’ll be back on September 1st with all (most?) of the changes in place. Lots of work to do, but we’re committed!

Standalone Articles
With missing podcast and MVPbuzzChat episodes, there was more room in June for standalone blog posts. There’s definitely a template that I like to follow when I take notes and think about content that I want to share. My goal is always to not just talk about topics that I care about, but to provide practical guidance and best practices. Hope you like this format, because that’s how my brain works.

Guardians of M365 Governance
Fun conversation with good friend and passionate governance practitioner, Diego Silva. We’re having a lot of fun with this series, and hoping you find it valuable as you plan out your own M365 governance strategy.

Smarter Content
Sometimes when I come up with an idea for content, I think to myself, “This is more of a Smarter Consulting post.” Lots more to come on the SC blog as I move from fractional CMO to FTE and consultant (AND fractional CMO). I’m doing a ton of training, and will be providing subject-matter expertise around adoption and governance.

Blatant Self-Promotion
And finally, my monthly wrap-up and a short post on the move. Enjoy.
And that’s a wrap for a hectic June. July will be all about unpacking, getting to know the new neighborhood/city/state, trying to get my internet sorted out, and sampling as much Texas BBQ as possible. Thanks for reading!
