October 2025 Content Wrap-Up
Another month in the books, another monthly content wrap-up. In case you didn’t notice, I’ve moved this post from the 1st of the following month to the final day of the current month. Not sure why it took me so long to make the change, but this feels right. It’s blatant self-promotion of the current month, while still in the month.
With time moving at 1.5x speed or more, it’s great to be able to reflect and document my travels and events and content, because nobody could ever remember all of this activity. I opened up the month by driving east (about 7 hours) from Dallas to Memphis to participate in the Memphis Community Days event where I talked about AI-assisted writing. It was great being able to finally make it out to this event put on by fellow MVPs Daniel Glenn, Pam DeGraffenreid, and the rest of their planning team. Fun group, albeit a quick overnight trip there and back. I need to do it again, but take the time to visit Graceland next time.
Other events in October included speakig to the Kansas City M365 UG on the 13th, focusing on ‘Content Strategy at the Speed of AI’ and sharing some of my tips and tricks on writing, notetaking, and content organization using OneNote, PowerPoint (and sometimes Word), and Copilot. Additionally, I moderated a Smarter Consulting webinar with SnapOn Software on the 16th and wrote a guest blog post for their site, was joined by Sue Hanley on the 22nd for the 22nd (hey!) episode of Guardians of M365 Governance (#GoM365gov) with Ragnar and Joy, and closed out the month by presenting on ‘How to market your event’ to the Microsoft Global Community Initiative (MGCI) community call on the 30th.
All-in-all, another incredibly busy month, with a lot going on in November. Here’s the content that I can confirm as published in October:
Remember that one time I wrote about AI?
I don’t start out the month believing I’ll write 13 articles on any topic. It just kind of happens Apparently, when it comes to AI, it happens a lot.

Project Failure Files (PFF)
Sharon and I continue to provide a full-court press on PFF content. Through the next few weeks, in fact, we’re getting everything ready to cover weekly episodes through the end of January. I’m also setting up the SharePoint library to track and capture all show notes, scripts, and related content from PFF to prepare for writing our book. We’re tentatively calling it “The Project Failure Files, Vol.1” because we’re super original.

#MVPbuzzChat interviews
Lots of MVP interviews. In fact, there’s no shortage on them. As soon as the number of recordings starts to level off, suddenly there’s a new batch of newly-minted MVPs, and I send out a batch of invites to participate in my service. Some great tech tips and life experiences shared in these brief interviews. Definitely worth checking out.

All quiet on the travel front in November, with TechCon365 right here in Dallas. I have 3 sessions, and am moderating the keynote panel. Not traveling to either Ignite in San Francisco or whatcha callit in Orlando. Focusing on online content, with plans to launch a new paid Copilot training course in November alongside the prompt engineering and (free) AI writing course. Lots more training content coming, so watch for it! Next major trip will be ESPC in Dublin, Ireland in early December. Excited to go back to Ireland, but once again not able to stay as long as I’d like to do some exploring and dig more deeply into the roots of the Buckley name. Someday.
