Community Feedback on Microsoft Inspire
Following last week’s #CollabTalk TweetJam during which the community discussed “Opportunities in the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem” I was able to connect with a participant and fellow Microsoft Regional Director, Sharon Weaver (@sharoneweaver), Founder and CEO of Kansas-based Smarter Consulting, and a long time consultant and community leader in the Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Azure spaces. You can read more about the tweetjam on the blog post, which, as always, included a stellar panel of MVPs, RDs, and community experts joining together for online discussion via Twitter and the #CollabTalk hashtag.
Due to the COVID-19 quarantine, Microsoft moved their annual partner conference, Microsoft Inspire, from its home in Las Vegas to the virtual world, and with it saw a 10-fold increase in registration. Sharon and I walk through each of the 7 questions asked during the 1-hour tweetjam and share our own thoughts and takeaways from the discussion.
You can watch the entire discussion on the CollabTalk YouTube channel below:
Thank you again to our ongoing tweetjam sponsor tyGraph (@tyGraphTweets) and the amazing stats that they provide each month. If you are planning an event and would like to include similar stats, please contact them!
Speaking of stats, as you can see below, the final tally for today’s event was a relatively quiet 142 tweets (less than half of our typical numbers), but still reaching 1.25 million impressions, and reaching 96.01k people reached in our 1-hour community discussion:
As always, we saw a number of regular participants, as well as some new faces in the discussion. The top hashtags used this month included #MSInspire, #MPN, #MicrosoftTeams, #PowerBI, and #NoLeaks. Nice!
These events also have a global reach, with great participation across North America and Europe, with occasional participants in UAE, India, South Africa and Australia.
If you’re interested in hearing more from the community on how they think Microsoft Teams is performing and where they would like to see improvement, be sure to read through the tweets from today’s event on the last page of the tyGraph stats and follow those who you connect with.
Looking forward to the next #CollabTalk TweetJam on Wednesday, August 26th at 9am PDT as the community will rejoin to discuss another important topic. I’ll share updates soon, so please follow me on Twitter or LinkedIn for the latest news! Thanks
