December 2025 Content Wrap-Up
Aaaaand here we are with the final entry of 2025, wrapping up another year of daily blog posts here on buckleyPLANET plus other content wherever it may be found. I’m going to keep it brief — not because there’s not a lot to summarize, but because I’m recovering from throat surgery this morning and need some sleep.
What’s going on? Well, if I can over-share for a moment, I’ve had some health issues for the past couple of years, and finally got annoyed with it all enough to see some doctors to get things fixed. It’ll be a long recovery, but I’m optimistic that by the time of my next planned travel in March, I should be back to normal. In fact, my goal is to start running again, and by the end of 2026 to have participated in at least one half-marathon. Things went well, I’m already breathing better, and ready for recovery. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be trying to sleep more and just take it easy…which means no travel, and no voiceovers for a few days while I recover. Ok, enough of the over-sharing…
As for December’s content, ESPC25 in Dublin, Ireland was fantastic! I had two highly-rated sessions: “From Assessment to Action: Strengthening Microsoft 365 Governance” which had a packed room (200+ easily) and great audience interaction, and “Building Thriving Communities: From User Groups to Large-Scale Events” which received a 10/10 rating, was voted one of the 20 best of show, and the audio is being made available to those who register for the ESPC website. Always my favorite event of the year, and this year was no different. As in years past, I was able to once again participate as a Community Reporter (some of the recordings included below), conduct the post-keynote interview with Jeff Teper, and co-moderate the SharePoint Birthday Party panel alongside Microsoft’s Heather Cook. One other highlight was receiving a special recognition award from the ESPC team for having participated as a speaker at every ESPC since the very first conference, held in Berlin back in 2011. Thank you for the recognition!
Additionally, while at ESPC, I participated in a webinar with fellow MVP Ruben Toribio entitled “Copilot Unlocked: Mastering Prompt Patterns, Agents, and AI Extensibility in Microsoft 365” that you can watch on LinkedIn or YouTube. Post-ESPC, I joined a panel of fellow RDs Stephanie Donahue (Avanade) and Joel Oleson (Sony Interactive) (Suzanne George was not able to join us) for the MN365 User Group to share our Microsoft Ignite 2025 Takeaways, which you can also watch on LinkedIn.
Two other online events this month were the latest Guardians of M365 Governance episode, and finally, the end-of-year CollabTalk TweetJam panel with fellow MVPs Charless Lakes II, Shari Oswald, Adam Ball, Ben Stegink, and our 6th Beatle, Wes Preston. Watch it on LinkedIn.
And here’s the content produced this past month:
