August 2026 Content Wrap-Up

Here’s the full August 2026 list, organized by category…and this month I’ll once again say a few more words. It’s been a difficult year in a few ways. Work is going well, health not so great, but for overall life and family, I am blessed and thankful. We’ve had two more grandchildren born this year – Carter in AZ and Peter in MN – with a baby girl arriving in UT in December, which will make 8 grandchildren. We couldn’t be more thrilled, and I’m excited to meet all three in the coming months.

From an event standpoint, I am cutting back on travel and speaking for now, but hope to ramp back up in a year or so. We’ll see how things go. I thought Twin Cities in a couple weeks would be my last speaking event until next summer, but at the last minute agreed to do 3 sessions at TechCon Dallas in early November – so if you’re planning to attend, I’ll see you there! We’ve now also had 2 sessions with the recently launched #DallasMAC User Group (Microsoft AI, Power Platform, and Collaboration Community) which I talked about on the blog last month and from the list down below, started with fellow MVPs Geetha and Sailaja. We’re looking for a permanent location in the DFW region, as the Microsoft building is not always available.

And finally, I’ve now hit my target – and will be blogging about it tomorrow – of daily blog posts for 5 years, and will be concluding this activity. I’m in the process of migrating the blog to a new hosting company and, over the next couple of months, will go through my 2nd redesign since launching the blog on February 3rd, 2004. I’m also designing a new site for the M365AMA series, as well as re-launching CollabTalk.com, which currently redirects. Lots going on, staying busy, and enjoying my current client work. No complaints here.

Oh yeah – and I’m taking a pause on most interviews for a couple months, picking things back up from the new home office in Florida before the end of the year.

See you in Minneapolis in September!
